Cole Taylor

Certified Business Coach · Exit Momentum

I get $10M–$50M+ owners growing three things at once: themselves, their leadership, and their business. That's the only thing that actually breaks the ceiling. More hours never have.

Meet Cole

Cole and Cullen, in their own words: how they connected, and how Cole coaches.

Who I work best with

Let me save us both some time: I'm for a specific kind of owner.

I work best with owners of $10M, $20M, $50M-and-up companies who are genuinely good at this and have slammed into a wall they can't think their way through. The business grows to a certain level and then just stops. It's almost never the market, and it's almost never effort. It's that the business outgrew the person running it. That's your ceiling. And you will not break it by working more hours. You've already tried that.

I coach owners across industries, and the common thread is never the industry. It's the owner who's ready to grow themselves as fast as they want the business to grow. If that's not you yet, I'm the wrong call. If it is, keep reading.

You're my kind of client if:

  • You're scaling a real company, $10M and climbing, and the growth has gotten heavier, not easier
  • You've poured everything into the business and quietly let the other two slide: who you are, and how you lead
  • You actually want to be challenged: hard questions and the truth, plus someone who refuses to let you play small
  • You're building something that reflects your values, not just a bigger number on a spreadsheet
How I coach

Most coaches work on your business. I work on all three things at once.

Every owner is really three pillars stacked on top of each other, and most owners are obsessed with the third one while the first two quietly erode. The business climbs to a level… and stalls. It has to. It can't outgrow the person standing at the center of it.

You

Your personal life: faith, family, fitness, who you are when nobody's watching. The foundation everything else stands on.

Your leadership

How you actually show up for your team: the standard you hold, the trust you build, the gap you close between intent and behavior.

Your business

The systems, the strategy, the numbers. The part you've mastered, and the only part most coaches ever touch.

I'll tell you exactly what you're signing up for: I'm direct. I will ask you hard questions and push you in ways you probably haven't been pushed before. But make no mistake: I'm also your biggest champion. My entire job is to close the gap between where you are and where you already know you could be.

Where I sit in the 3D Momentum Model: the Dynamic side: the people, and the leader at the center of them. A business doesn't have problems; it has people, and people have problems. When the leader grows, the whole organization follows. See the 3D Momentum Model →

My background

I didn't learn this from a textbook. I built businesses and competed at a high level.

I operate where most people refuse to connect the dots: business strategy and personal transformation, in the same conversation. Through The Starting Line, the company I founded, I've coached thousands of business owners and their teams, handing them the clarity, structure, and mindset it takes to grow in a way that actually holds.

It all comes back to one belief: businesses don't have problems. People do. And when leaders grow, organizations follow. I help owners build leadership discipline and business structure together, because the moment those two line up, momentum takes off.

Results

Don't take my word for any of it. That's not how I'd want you to decide anyway.

The work has to show up: in your numbers, in how your team runs, in how you feel walking into your own company on a Monday morning. And I'll be straight, because that's the whole point: I'm newer to the Exit Momentum team, and I'd rather tell you the truth than borrow someone else's wins. The client-specific results from my coaching are still being gathered, and they'll go right here as they come in. That's the bar I'm holding myself to. Watch this space.

What working together looks like

No mystery and no pressure. Here's exactly how it goes.

1

We start with a conversation

You book a call with me, and we get honest, fast, about whether I'm the right coach for where you're trying to go. If there isn't a fit, I'll say so.

2

The 3D Diagnostic

A focused session, just you and me, digging into your Direction, Design, and Dynamic. You can't see how big the mountain is while you're climbing it.

3

The Leadership Lab

Your leadership team in the room. Momentum is a team sport, full stop. You walk out with a clear, honest picture of exactly what to fix first.

4

Ongoing coaching

A steady rhythm: clarity of direction, systems and cadence, and the leadership development that sharpens you and your team.

All of it serves one line we build everything on: from structure comes freedom. The goal never changes: a business that runs on a system instead of running you.

If any of this is hitting close to home, let's talk.

The owners I work with are usually doing the work only they can do, because the business still runs straight through them. That's the real ceiling, and it does not break by working harder. It breaks the day you, your leadership, and your business start growing together.

If you're ready for that, the next move is simple: book a call with me. We'll talk about where you are, where you want to go, and whether I'm the right person to get you there.
