Certified Business Coach · Exit Momentum

I get $10M–$50M+ owners growing three things at once: themselves, their leadership, and their business. That's the only thing that actually breaks the ceiling. More hours never have.

Meet Cole

Meet Cole, in his own words.

Who Cole works best with

Let me save us both some time: I'm not for every business. I'm for a specific kind of owner.

I work best with owners of $10M, $20M, $50M-and-up companies who are genuinely good at this and have slammed into a wall they can't think their way through. Here's what thousands of business owners have taught me: the business grows to a certain level and then just stops, and it's almost never the market, and it's almost never effort. It's that the business outgrew the person running it. That's your ceiling. And I'll tell you up front: you will not break it by working more hours. You've already tried that.

You're my kind of client if:

You're Cole's kind of client if:

  • You're scaling a real company, $10M and climbing toward $20M, $50M, and beyond, with a team and real revenue, and the growth has gotten heavier, not easier.
  • You've poured everything into the business and quietly let the other two slide, who you are as a person, and how you lead, and it's catching up with you.
  • You actually want to be challenged. You want the hard questions and the truth, plus someone in your corner who refuses to let you play small.
  • You're building something that reflects your values, not just a bigger number on a spreadsheet.
How Cole coaches

The way I like to talk about it is this: most coaches work on your business. I work on all three things at once, you, your leadership, and your business, because that's the only place real momentum comes from.

Thousands of owners in, here's the pattern I see every single time. Every owner is really three pillars stacked on top of each other: your personal life, your faith, your family, your fitness, who you are when nobody's watching. Your leadership, how you actually show up for your team. And the business, the systems, the strategy, the numbers. Most owners are obsessed with that third pillar and have let the first two go. So the business climbs to a level… and stalls. It has to. It can't outgrow the person standing at the center of it.

My job is to grow all three at once, so the business can keep scaling and stop slamming into that ceiling. And I'll tell you exactly what you're signing up for: I'm direct. I will ask you hard questions. I will push you in ways you probably haven't been pushed before. But make no mistake, I'm also your biggest champion. I'll believe in you harder than you believe in yourself right now, and my entire job is to close the gap between where you are and where you already know you could be.

The whole model, every coach: every EXM coach works the full 3D Momentum Model: Direction, Design, and Dynamic. Cole goes deepest on the people, and the leader at the center of them. A business doesn’t have problems; it has people. When the leader grows, the whole organization follows. See the 3D Momentum Model →

Cole's background

I didn't learn this from a textbook. I built businesses, I competed at a high level, and I've spent years in the trenches with other owners.

I operate where most people refuse to connect the dots: business strategy and personal transformation, in the same conversation. As a consultant, entrepreneur, and international speaker, I've spent my career helping leaders scale both their companies and themselves. Through The Starting Line, the company I founded, I've coached thousands of business owners and their teams, handing them the clarity, structure, and mindset it takes to grow in a way that actually holds.

It all comes back to one belief: businesses don't have problems, people do. And when leaders grow, organizations follow. My whole background is built on that. I hold an MBA and structured business-framework certifications, and I've built a portfolio of my own businesses, so I know the mechanics of scaling a company cold. I'm also a licensed and ordained pastor, a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and a high-level athlete, so I know the disciplines it takes to build a leader who's actually resilient, aligned, and clear on their purpose. That dual lens is the entire edge: I help owners build leadership discipline and business structure together, because the moment those two line up, momentum takes off.

Founder of The Starting Line, coaching thousands of business owners in leadership and personal growth.

International speaker, I've addressed audiences of 30,000+ and shared stages with Ed Mylett, John Maxwell, Robert Kiyosaki, and Kevin Harrington.

MBA + Empire Operating System certifications, structured business frameworks alongside real leadership development.

Former Division I athlete and ultra-marathoner, I bring discipline, endurance, and performance psychology straight into the way I coach.

Who does Cole Taylor work best with?
Owners of $10M–$50M+ companies who are good at what they do but have hit a growth ceiling they can't push past by working more hours. Cole's specialty is the leader at the center of the business, he helps owners grow personally, as leaders, and as operators at the same time, because the business can only scale as fast as the person running it. Industry matters far less to Cole than whether the owner is ready to grow themselves.
Where is Cole based, and who can he coach?
Cole is based in Tulsa, OK, and works with clients nationwide. Coaching is done in a rhythm that fits a busy owner's schedule, so location isn't a barrier.

What framework does Cole use?
EXM's 3D Momentum Model, a triangle of Direction, Design, and Dynamic that all have to hold. Cole is strongest on the Dynamic side: the people, purpose, process, and performance underneath the leader and the team. His starting belief: a business doesn't have problems; it has people, and people have problems.
What happens on the first call?
A straight, no-pressure conversation about where your business is, where you want to take it, and whether Cole is the right coach for the job. If he's not a fit, he'll tell you. If he is, he'll walk you through how he'd approach your situation, starting with the 3D Diagnostic.

If any of this is hitting close to home, let's talk.

The owners Cole works with are usually doing the work only they can do, because the business still runs straight through them. That's the real ceiling, and it does not break by working harder.
